Elevator Pitch No. 3

My idea is more within reality as I have decided to pitch using old cargo containers as student housing. It is cheap and efficient as no overhead is needed to produce housing, simply permits and land. Students are generally hipsters that like this kind of green thinking, thus allowing us to charge a premium on these properties.

The feedback I received caused me to rethink how I was going to do this interview as I wanted a more realistic idea. This was by far the most important in addition to how would you execute said idea. The surprising one was actually seeing a friend's remark of my idea being crazy as I will admit it is a bit out there but it is done quite frequently. Finally, I got nonsensical reviews that said looking down at the camera looks bad, but it is an accurate depiction of an actual pitch where people are sitting down.

Michael,

I think you did a good job on your pitch. Your concept is an interesting one and it would definitely satisfy a need for affordable student housing. My only concern would be - how would you transform a cargo container into a comfortable year-round home, hooking it up with A/C and all the necessary appliances and such? I do not know much about this sort of thing so perhaps these are all an easy task, just a thought!

Good job!

Micheal,

Great job! I think your idea is awesome and can possibly pave the way for a new way to solve the student housing problem. I think the idea could use a little more specification, but ultimately I think it brings something new and fresh to the table. How will the conditions of the cargo containers hold up? Also, will the cargo containers become fully customizable? I think the idea is great for students and local Gainesville residents! Overall interesting post and great idea. I hope you follow through with this.
